Update: still wearing these shorts and are still holding up well after a gazillion washes :)Hands down, my favorite shorts I have ever owned. When you first put them on, they are a bit snug on the hips, but after a few minutes, seems to adjust well. These shorts are a great length; I’m a mom, but still enjoy shorter shorts :) . Great pants in the parchment color. I have worn this style for years, but what is different about these pants is the soft, comfortable, light-weight 98% cotton, 2% spandex. With the spandex the waist is so comfortable--way better than the Lee 100% cotton pants I have worn. I love the back pockets without the buttons.

These are great for water activities. I wore them to climb a mayan ruin, a hike and then river tubing, they were sooo comfortable and my thighs didn’t chafe. They do hold water and have a slower dry time, but it wasn’t an issue for me overall.
