I've had a few of these and though comfortable is not the first word that comes to mind (I mean it's sealing you like a vacuum sealed sausage) it's the most comfortable that I've owned. For the most part it lays pretty flat under clothes and definitely does the job of shaping. The only odd thing is there are these small flat round metal pieces throughout that don't seem to have a reason and got itchy, I'm probably going to cut them out and hope that it doesn't mess up the product. Bought this according to my regular size. It is a good snug fit like it should be. I am 5'6 and 165lbs. But my weight distributes evenly. If you carry your weight a lot heavier in one area than the other I would say size up one. The hole to use the restroom works great as well. Fits well under pants without showing. If your going to be wearing a skin tight dress in a solid color or with no pleating you can see the clasp part around the abdomen.

I decided to go with a large. I am 5'7 and 154. I have a smaller waist, but my love handles, hips, and thighs are on the bigger side and the size was perfect fit. I wasn't sure if I was going to do a medium or large and if I got medium it would have not fit. The legs do not ride up like other concerts I have bought. This is one of the better ones I have bought. I hope it doesn't tear for this is my first day wearing it. I would be more concerned with it tearing in my thought area.i would purchase again

So after reading all the reviews, I ordered one to wear under a long dress to my son's wedding. When it arrived, I too was impressed with the quality of it. VERY well made, not a cheap thing about it. Plus it has little embellishments that make it very feminine. Definitely evens out the back fat. I ordered a 3xl and normally wear a size 16 US. Normally I would have gotten a 1xl but this actually fits great. I have never had a body shaper like this. I normally go for a corset but this is actually really nice. I was concerned that the leg part would show through my pants but it doesn't. OMG!!! Hands down the BEST girdle/shapewear/foundation garment I have ever owned! For a nearly 40 YO who started wearing girdles at 13, that's saying a lot! I knew when I tried it on, that I was in love. I normally wear a 14-16, so I ordered the XL. I am a very bottom-heavy, pear-shaped girl. I probably could have gone with the L for a tighter corset, but on the tightest setting, the XL is working and I'm not sure the legs would be large enough in the L.
