I don't wear hats but living in NY winters could get very cold. I purchased because the hat looked cute but simple. I received the hat and was happy to see I was given a bonus pom pom . The hat is nice and thick which means it will keep my head warm, but it does run a little large. I have to fold in the hat 1x so it can stay on my head and not cover my eyes. Bought several ones of these hats, great knit hats and very warm too. Love the removable PomPoms that detach for washing the hat and click back on after easily. love the many colors too. well made knit too.
