The relaxed fit is perfect. If you like things skin-tight, don't get these, but if you like a little space and comfort, these are great. I got a pair in black and another in parchment (I think - it's a very light tan). The material is very soft and a little bit stretchy. They seem to stretch out just a teeny bit with wearing, but they don't get baggy. They're dressy enough for the office, and they have pockets, which are a necessity for me! Love love love these shorts. Im 5 3 120lbs. I usually wear medium in shorts because my butt is on the fuller side and my waist is smaller but the small was a perfect fit for my shape . Very flattering. Ive already ordered another color. Well made too.

absolutely love these for swim shorts and for running after 3 kids less than 5yrs of age. It gives just the right amount of coverage! Im 5ft 7 140 pounds athletic build and i prefer the mediums so it is not tight around the waist. Highly recommend! Hope this is helpful

These are longer than the normal shorts that come with the suits that still go up if you have any junk in the trunk. They are not tight in the thighs which I normally have a problem with. These are perfect. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfect! If you are choosing between 2 sizes, go bigger as they have the functional drawstring!

I love these shorts!!! I was looking for something to lounge in at home, but these could easily be gym or casual wear. I like the length (5 inseam) and the pockets are deep and functional. I was pleased that there aren't actual cuffs - they just have that look (nothing to roll up or down).I started with the charcoal grey and ended up getting the other two colors as well!!!
