Based on other reviews I ordered a Large instead of my usual Medium. The fit is nice, they are not tight and are comfortable. I would recommend if you are something that provides a bit more coverage than your usual swimmer bottoms.

Love these! Perfect shorts for when you just want to cover up after getting out but don’t want to wear a towel. I even swim in them at times. They have a nice liner in them like a normalSwim bottom if you wear them as the only bottom. I purchased mine big so they would be loose on my hips.

Update: still wearing these shorts and are still holding up well after a gazillion washes :)Hands down, my favorite shorts I have ever owned. When you first put them on, they are a bit snug on the hips, but after a few minutes, seems to adjust well. These shorts are a great length; I’m a mom, but still enjoy shorter shorts :) . They do not grab your thighs and the side slit is a nice detail. The washed color was exactly what I was looking for in shorts. I typically wear a size ten (“small” waist but large h

My daughter who is 10 and 5 foot 3 loves these! They give her confidence and coverage as they are modest coverage. I loved them so much I want a pair! We've had them all summer as we have a pool and they have held up great! She won't wear anything else. And they are lined so you don't have to wear another swim bottom underneath.
