I fluctuate between large and extra large because I have a bigger chest. But I have narrow shoulders so finding a jacket, well, any top to fit without having little wings in front between my armpits and chest is very challenging. This jacket fits me perfectly. Not too long, not too short. I ordered a large based on what other very helpful ladies said in their reviews. I believe an extra large would have been way too big. The price really can't be beat. The perfect jean jacket that I was looking for. I like that it's a little lighter jean material and not a heavier denim. I usually buy XL tops since I have large breasts, and this XL has a great fit and shape. Can fasten with no problem or can wear a heavy sweater underneath. Sweet!
