I am 230 lbs and the 3X worked well for me. I carry most of my weight in my hips and butt. These are super cute and cover in all the right places. The only thing I have to say about these is to hang them to dry, don't throw them in the dryer if you can avoid it. My mother in law dried them and the draw string got a little crinkled up inside the seam. Otherwise these are perfect.

I work at a school and I'm always needing conservative teacher clothes to wear in the cooler months. I now have this pant in 4 colors. I don't think they look as dorky as a lot of the pictures make them look out to be. They are straight legged, not too skinny and not too wide, and they have a little give in the waistband.
