These are very nice pants. When I first got them, I thought they were black. They are a very dark brown that will look black in dim lighting. I love the stretchy fabric that they are made out of. When I ordered these, I wasn't very hopeful that they would fit me. I'm a very hard fit and ordering clothes online never goes well for me. Honestly these are my new favorites. I bought a pair of Roxy brand and they were not as nice as these. They are very comfortable around the waist and have a liner so you don't have to wear swim bottoms with them (unlike Roxy brand that cost twice as much)My only gripe is that the draw string fell out after I washed them. If you don't want that to happen I recommend tying them off first.I'm still giving them 5 stars because they work fine for me without the string, but I can see that being a drawback for som

These shorts sit perfectly on my waist. True to size. Distressed just enough. The minute I put them on, it felt like I had spent the last month breaking them in!
