I usually HATE wearing and buying shorts. My hip to waist ratio means either it fits my tummy or my legs. Never both. I also hate shorts that are super tight around my legs. These are my favorite shorts ever. I had to size up (a lot). I usually wear a 12 and bought a 16. I wanted them loose especially around the legs and well they ended up fitting perfectly. I ordered a 4 (27), it was too big, especially on the waist (i'm 5'6 , 130lb). I returned and ordered a 2 (26). Fits great! I love them. I would say if you have a small waist, to size down.

Love these! They fit like a glove and are possibly the most comfortable jean shorts I own. I am 5’9 and they are short but not too too short to where my bottom is hanging out. I ordered my usual size 4 and they are perfect. I’d say they are definitely true to size. I’ll definitely be ordering again in a different wash.

I was super nervous about this order. I have huge thighs and hips (thanks Mom) and a fairly mid sized mid section. I hate shorts that stick to my thighs. From what I was reading the shorts ran small which very well could be the reason I ordered a size 2X. I am 6 ft tall and 220 lb. I would say if I were doing anything other than hanging out I would need a belt. The 2X is very big, but not suctioning to my legs so I'm happy about that! I could have ordered an 1X and it probably would have been fine. I normal
