I am very happy with these swim shorts. Bought medium -- for reference I am 5'2 about 125 lbs== 39 hip and they fit perfect. I just wanted something I could wear with a tankini top and I think these will be fine. I have not used them in water yet, so cannot comment on that.

These pants are so comfortable and fit just right. The waist is not too loose and the hip area is just snug enough to give a nice silhouette without cutting off my circulation. I will definitely buy more in the other colors.

I wanted something a little more modest and suitable for chasing children. This is perfect. Doesn’t cling to weird when wet like a skirt does. Washes and dries beautifully. And I can bend and squat without making the world my gynecologist.

I had to order a size that I don't normally wear, due to some recent weight gain. Even though I'm 5'4 the pant in a 16 didn't look ridiculous on me, nor did the crotch sag, which has been a problem if I have to purchase a larger size. The fabric is nice and light, but not cheap-looking. I followed advice on these reviews and washed in cold water, dried for a few minutes on low and then hung dry to finish.
